How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Systemic Family Therapist

    Hampshire | Full-time or Part-time Considered

    Total Assist Recruitment are seeking an experienced and compassionate Systemic Family Therapist to join a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting children, adolescents, and their families within an inpatient eating disorder service.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly regarded Tier 4 CAMHS setting providing assessment, formulation, and evidence-based family interventions for young people aged 12–18 presenting with eating disorders and associated mental health difficulties. The service works closely with families as a key part of the recovery process and places systemic practice at the heart of treatment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Deliver systemic family therapy assessments and interventions.

    * Facilitate family meetings, therapy sessions, and multi-family work where appropriate.

    * Contribute to multidisciplinary formulations and treatment planning.

    * Provide consultation and systemic thinking across the wider clinical team.

    * Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures.

    * Participate in clinical governance, supervision, and service development initiatives.

    Candidate Requirements

    * Professional qualification in a recognised mental health discipline.

    * Master's level qualification (or equivalent) in Systemic Psychotherapy/Family Therapy.

    * Registration with an appropriate professional body.

    * Experience working with children, adolescents, and families within CAMHS, eating disorders, or specialist mental health services.

    * Strong multidisciplinary working and communication skills.

    The Service

    The service provides specialist inpatient treatment for young people experiencing eating disorders and associated emotional and mental health difficulties. Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, dietetics, occupational therapy, education, and family therapy professionals
