How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Pace Infrastructure is currently recruiting experienced LANTRA 12A/B Traffic Management Operatives to support major highways and infrastructure projects across the UK.

    We are looking for motivated and safety-conscious operatives with experience working on high-speed roads, motorway schemes and temporary traffic management installations.

    Requirements:

    * Valid LANTRA NHSS 12A/B Traffic Management Qualification

    * Valid CSCS Card (preferred)

    * Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

    * Previous Traffic Management experience

    * Good understanding of Chapter 8 requirements

    * Ability to work days, nights and weekends

    * Strong commitment to Health & Safety

    * Reliable and professional attitude

    NHSS 12A/B qualifications are used for temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways, covering installation, maintenance and removal of traffic management systems.

    Duties:

    * Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management systems

    * Setting out cones, barriers, signs and lane closures

    * Assisting with road closures and diversion routes

    * Working safely on high-speed roads and motorway networks

    * Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks

    * Ensuring all traffic management layouts comply with current legislation and Chapter 8 standards

    * Supporting supervisors and site management teams

    * Reporting defects, incidents and safety concerns

    * Maintaining a safe working environment for road users and site personnel

    Temporary Traffic Management training focuses on safety procedures, risk assessments, equipment use, traffic control methods and legal requirements when working on the highway.
