How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Design Engineer (HVAC)

    West London

    Are you a Graduate Design Engineer coming from a background within the HVAC industry, with previous mechanical design experience, looking to kickstart your career in a large company in the manufacturing industry, offering impressive training and career progression opportunities.

    Do you want to be a part of a large company who are looking to grow into one of the largest companies in the manufacturing industry, with plans to keep upgrading their training and progression offered to new candidates through a range of in house courses being offered in the training centre, ensuring the full knowledge and skillset is provided.

    On offer, is the chance for a Graduate Design Engineer to become a large manufacturing company who work on HVAC systems, providing instillation designs for heating, ventilation, and air conditions services. Founded in the 1970's, this company has demonstrated large growth and continues to do so, taking on many new projects.

    In this role, the successful Graduate Design Engineer will be focusing heavily on the design aspects, using AutoCAD and Revit, whilst also working on engineering calculations for the HVAC systems. The successful Graduate Design Engineer will be involved inside engineering calculations, specifically for heat levels, air flows, and humidity. The successful Graduate Design Engineer will occasionally be required on site. The working hours will be between 8-5 from Monday to Friday, including an hour for lunch.

    The ideal Graduate Design Engineer will have AutoCAD and Revit experience, being able to demonstrate experience of design during the hiring process and have HVAC experience which is crucial to this role. The successful Graduate Design Engineer will need to be based locally to West London/Slough, having a full UK License whilst owning a car.
