How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    CCTV ENGINEER

    £32,000 - £37'000 (DOE) OTE £40-£45k + Door to Door Pay + Overtime + Training & Development + Progression + Van + Company Uniform + Pension

    Monday - Friday

    Peterborough (Commutable from: Cambridge, St Ives, Newmarket, Bedford, Kettering, Bury St Edmunds)

    Are you an Engineer with experience in the installation, commissioning, testing & Maintenance of CCTV systems looking to be part of a continually expanding industry leading company who offer training & progression?

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company, who have an excellent reputation in their sector for the products & services they provide to their customers throughout the UK.

    In this role you will be carrying out a mixture of service and installation work on CCTV systems whilst maximizing your earnings through door to door pay & overtime whilst working as part of a passionate & growing field-based team.

    This role would suit an Engineer with previous CCTV experience looking for a nationwide role with a great company who can offer genuine scope to grow as the business expands.

    The Role:

    Installation and maintenance CCTV systems for the livestock industries
    Working with hard-wired and wireless/mesh network solutions
    Commissioning and testing systems
    Supporting customers with queries, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting
    Overtime + Door to Door pay + Van + Laptop and phone
    The Candidate:

    Experienced CCTV Engineer or a more junior Engineer looking for training, development & progression
    Experience installing and commissioning IP CCTV systems
    Confident with both structured cabling and wireless/mesh solutions
    Comfortable working in agricultural or rural environments
    Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
    Good communication and able to deal professionally with farm owners and site managers
    Full, clean UK driving licence - essential
