Martin House is a short-term supported housing service for men who are experiencing homelessness. We provide a safe and supportive environment where the people we support can work towards greater independence, with access to personalised support and opportunities to engage with relevant support services.
The scheme offers 20 bed spaces, including 16 single rooms and 3 shared rooms, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Scheme Manager, you will lead and support a dedicated team, overseeing the provision of guidance, advice, and practical assistance to individuals who are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced, homelessness. Your focus will be on empowering people to access, secure, and sustain safe and stable accommodation, enabling them to build a positive and independent future.
About You:
We are looking for someone who brings:
Knowledge of relevant legislation in relation to homelessness, housing and the equalities act
Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to different needs
Previous experience of working in services for people experiencing homelessness
A commitment to equality, diversity, and person-centred care
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
