The Production Technician role
You’ll play a key part in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This is a varied role where you’ll be involved in machine performance, tooling changes, process optimisation, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting operators on shift.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Monitoring production processes and performance
* Responding to machine or tooling issues quickly and effectively
* Carrying out routine changeovers and production-led maintenance
* Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
* Completing production paperwork and visual management updates
* Supporting operators and covering wider production duties when needed
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in an injection moulding environment
* Good understanding of moulding processes
* A team player with strong communication skills
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to follow standard processes
* Technical qualification or similar manufacturing training would be an advantage
Shift Pattern
This role will involve a 4-week rotating shift pattern covering days, nights, and weekends, with overtime available depending on business needs.
Salary: £17.60 per hour
