How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role:

    Design and collection development.

    * Commission, create and develop artwork as required for new collections.

    * Support product launches through photography styling, presentation preparation, card layouts and collection handovers.

    Market and customer engagement

    * Attend key industry exhibitions, trade shows and design events including Heimtextil, HIX, Clerkenwell Design Week, London Design Week, Focus and Deco Off.

    * Produce trend reports and market feedback following supplier visits and exhibitions.

    * Support customer-facing presentations and bespoke product development projects where required.

    * UK and International travel to supplier exhibitions.

    Specials and bespoke development

    * Manage bespoke and special product developments through the Studio+ design process from initial brief through to sampling and production.

    * Coordinate with mills and suppliers to progress special developments efficiently and accurately.

    * Complete and manage New Product Information forms in collaboration with Purchasing and Sales teams.

    Skills & Experience

    * 1-3 years’ experience within the textiles or interiors industry, ideally with exposure to contract, hospitality or specification markets.

    * Strong understanding of woven and printed textile product development.

    * Understanding of commercial textiles, including high-performance materials and test certification standards, would be advantageous but is not essential.

    * Proficient in AVA and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

    * Strong awareness of colour, trend and material direction within interiors and contract design.

    * Proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented approach.

    * Genuine passion for interior textiles, hospitality and commercial design.
