Join a Growing Food Production Team
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Production Team Leader to join a busy food manufacturing site in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with production or manufacturing experience who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards, and working within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of production operatives to achieve daily production targets
Ensure products, including cakes and baked goods, are finished and packed to a high standard
Oversee the safe and efficient running of production machinery
Support and coordinate ingredient mixing in line with recipes and production procedures
Monitor quality, productivity, and hygiene standards across the production line
Train, guide, and motivate team members
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
Ensure food safety and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Report any production or machinery issues to management
Support continuous improvement across the production process
Shift & Pay
Monday to Friday
06:00 – 14:30
£15.71 per hour

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience within food production or manufacturing
Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
