How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Transport Coordinator - Newport (Magor), Monmouthshire

    Are you looking for a dynamic role within a growing transport operation? We’re seeking a proactive Transport Coordinator to join our busy depot near Newport.     Then this could be the perfect role for you! We’re looking for candidates with experience in transport, logistics, or manufacturing operations who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Salary & Benefits:

    * Days: £538–£615 per week (approx. £28K–£32K per annum)

    * Nights: £577–£654 per week (approx. £30K–£34K per annum)

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Provide administrative support to managers and planners

    * Manage data input and generate reports using computer systems

    * Liaise with customers and drivers via phone and email

    * Coordinate deliveries and driver schedules

    * Handle driver pay sheets and resolve queries

    * Ensure vehicle maintenance standards through liaison with service providers

    * Daily interaction with warehouse and management personnel

    Requirements:

    * Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks

    * Calm under pressure with a methodical, organised approach

    * Confident working independently and as part of a team

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

    * Previous admin or transport experience desirable but not essential
