The Role of a TA:
* Full-time, permanent role starting in September
* Work within a Nursery class supporting children across the EYFS curriculum
* Provide general classroom support alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team
* Help create a positive, stimulating and nurturing learning environment
* Support children’s social, emotional and educational development through play-based learning
* Assist with observations, classroom preparation and daily routines
* School hours and school holiday schedule, supporting a positive work-life balance
Essential Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential)
* Experience supporting EYFS-aged children within a nursery, preschool or primary school setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* A caring, patient and proactive approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to Work in the UK
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience supporting children with additional needs
* Knowledge of phonics and early language development
* Paediatric First Aid qualification
* Experience working within a school-based nursery class
