How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Demand Planning Analyst - European Supply Chain

    Dartford, Kent (Hybrid) | £30,000-£40,000 + Bonus + Benefits

This is not an administrative role. It is a data-led planning role at the centre of a European supply chain.

You are not someone who simply maintains spreadsheets or updates systems. You are the person who notices when something does not look right. You question it. You trace it back. You fix it. And in doing so, you prevent problems before they happen.

This role exists because a growing international business has invested in modern demand planning tools and ERP systems - and now needs someone capable of making those systems work properly. Not by following process, but by understanding what sits behind the data.

    The environment

The business operates a centralised European supply chain, distributing a high volume of SKUs across multiple markets from a single hub. Products are sourced globally, lead times are variable, and demand signals come from both systems and commercial teams.

Planning here is not theoretical. It is operational. It is imperfect. It requires judgement.

    You will work with:

A modern ERP system driving planning outputs
Demand planning software using historical and live data
Sales teams across Europe feeding in real-world demand signals
A supply chain function that relies on data being right first timeIf the data is wrong, decisions are wrong. If decisions are wrong, stock is wrong. That is the level of impact this role carries.

    The role

You will sit within the demand planning function, supporting the monthly planning cycle and ensuring the integrity of the data that drives it.

    Your work will involve:

Interrogating data within ERP and planning systems to ensure accuracy
Producing and refining Excel-based reporting that highlights risk and opportunity
Supporting the creation of purchase plans by validating demand inputs
Identifying potential stock issues before they materialise
Engaging directly with sales teams to validate forecasts and challenge inconsistenciesThis is not a passive role. You are expected to notice, question, and escalate.

    The challenge

The systems are in place - but they are only as good as the data behind them.

    You will need to:

Work with evolving datasets and changing inputs
Identify patterns and anomalies within large volumes of data
Balance system outputs with real-world insight
Communicate confidently with stakeholders who may challenge your findingsThis is an environment where:

    Not everything is defined
    Not everything is perfect
And where your ability to think matters more than your ability to follow processWho you are

You are already working in a role where data matters.

    You might be:

    A Supply Chain Analyst
    An Inventory Analyst
    A Demand Planning Assistant
A Data Analyst within a product-based or distribution environmentWhat defines you is not your title - it is how you approach problems.

    You:

Are highly numerate and naturally analytical
Have strong Excel capability (you are comfortable building, not just using)
Understand how data connects to real-world outcomes
Are confident enough to question and challenge when something does not make sense
Prefer understanding over instructionYou may not yet be a Demand Planner - but you are ready to become one.

    Why this role

This is a role people move for because it accelerates their development.

    You will gain:

Direct exposure to European demand planning processes
Experience working with ERP and planning systems at scale
The opportunity to influence decisions, not just report on them
A clear pathway into demand planning, supply chain analytics, or broader planning rolesThis is not about stepping sideways. It is about stepping forward
