Class 1 Driver

Edge Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers (HGV C+E) for ongoing work with our client in the York area (YO26).

We are currently looking for day drivers for this role. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right drivers.

Pay Rates

* Agency: £15.85 per hour (breaks paid)

* Full-time salary potential: £33,000–£45,000 per year

The Role

* Collection of scrap televisions and fridges

* Heavy lifting involved

* Driver’s mate provided to assist

* Ongoing work available Monday to Friday

Class 1 Driver Requirements

* Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

* Must have held Class 1 licence for at least 2 years

* Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card

* No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or IN codes)

* Strong knowledge of UK road laws and safe driving practices

* Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
