An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a well-established and growing specialist steelwork business based in West Yorkshire.

The company delivers high-quality engineered steelwork solutions across a wide range of projects, including staircases, balustrades, structural steelwork, platforms, and bespoke steel installations. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to add a skilled Fabricator Welder to their day shift team.

The Role

Working within a busy fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding structural steel components to engineering drawings and project specifications. This role will involve cutting, grinding, assembling, and welding a variety of steel sections while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings

Fabricating structural steel components including UB's, UC's, PFC's, and CHS's

Cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding steelwork to specification

Operating fabrication machinery, hand tools, and overhead cranes

Ensuring all work is completed to quality and dimensional standards

Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Working effectively as part of a fabrication team to meet production deadlines

Requirements

Previous experience in steel fabrication and welding

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

Strong fabrication and MIG welding skills

Experience working with structural steel components

Good attention to detail and quality standards

Reliable, hardworking, and safety conscious

Fabrication/Welding qualifications advantageous but not essential
