M-Tech Engineering are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Fabrication Quality Inspector to join our growing team. We specialise in the manufacture of high-quality staircases and balustrade systems for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out dimensional inspections of fabrications prior to welding and after welding completion

* Inspect incoming materials for quality, specification, and quantity

* Ensure fabricated components meet drawing and customer requirements

* Record inspection results and report any non-conformances

* Work closely with fabrication and welding teams to maintain quality standards

* Support continuous improvement within the manufacturing process

Requirements

* Previous experience in a fabrication or engineering inspection role

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Strong attention to detail and quality standards

* Good communication and organisational skills

* Experience within structural steel, staircases, or balustrade manufacturing would be advantageous

* WPS qualification or welding procedure knowledge would be beneficial
