HGV1 Trunk Driver

FTS Recruitment has an Fantastic opportunity to be part of the team with a very reputable company. Working with one of the largest British furniture retailers in the Country that continues to grow year on year we are excited to be recruiting a HGV1 Trunk Driver, starting as soon as possible.

You’ll be working as a HGV1 Driver, completing trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country, all drop and swaps.

Job tile: HGV1 Trunk Driver

Location: Swindon, SN3

Hours: 10 hours + (8 hours guaranteed pay)

Pay Rate: £17.41 per hour. Pay rate is inclusive of holiday pay and pay is fortnightly on set pay days,

Start date: ASAP

Shift Duration: Days: Monday to friday, Nights: Sunday to Thursday

Start Times: Between 0400am - 0700am / From 1600pm

What You’ll Do

* Operate HGV1 vehicle to complete trunk runs.

* Trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country.

* All deliveries are drop and swap.

* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly

Skills and Requirements

* Valid UK category C1 licence with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum age of 21 years due to insurance purposes

* Must not exceed maximum 6 points on your driving licence (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)

* Must have a minimum of 1 years HGV1 experience
