How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Asset Data Analyst

Macclesfield - Agile - offering a mix of office and home working

    Salary: £40,000 per annum

Hours - 37 Hours per week

We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties.

We now have a vacancy for an Asset Data Analyst to join our Asset and Development team.

You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality housing asset information to support safe, compliant and value-for-money investment decisions. The role manages and improves asset datasets (e.g., stock condition, component lifecycles, compliance and energy data), produces insight and reporting for operational teams and leadership, and supports robust data governance across asset management systems.

    We can offer you:

    * 29 days holiday per year plus birthday leave and Bank Holidays

    * A great pension scheme that’s tailored to suit your needs

    * Agile working providing homeworking and flexibility of working hours.

    * A focus on your health and wellbeing including access to our Health Cash Plan offering a variety of benefits and discounts.

    * Training and development opportunities – let us help you reach your career goals.

    * A modern office with a friendly working environment

To succeed, you’ll have demonstrable experience in an analyst or data-focused role with experience of working with large datasets and database concepts. You will have the ability to identify patterns, exceptions and root causes, translate findings into clear recommendations and communicate to non-technical colleagues.

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of data quality and governance practices, advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines whilst delivering accurate outputs.

For further details of the role, please take a look at the job description attached to this advert.

Our values guide everything we do, so we’re keen to hear from people who share a similar outlook and want to make a positive impact.
