How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Office Manager

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Office Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Lincoln.

    This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting multiple operational departments, where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and wider business operations.

    The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, proactive, and confident managing a broad range of administrative, operational, and coordination duties within a busy environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Managing day-to-day office operations and administrative workflows

    Supporting operational teams with commercial administration

    Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices

    Assisting with applications for payment and project documentation

    Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for field-based teams

    Managing data, reports, and operational records accurately

    Liaising with suppliers, internal departments, and external stakeholders

    Supporting managers with operational and logistical coordination

    Maintaining accurate records across internal systems and databases

    Assisting with material ordering and supplier coordination where required

    About You

    Previous experience within an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator, Administration Manager, or similar role

    Experience working within a fast-paced environment such as construction, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, or operational services would be advantageous

    Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

    Confident communicator with a proactive and flexible approach

    Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly

    Able to work independently whilst also supporting a wider team
