About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a growing organisation following an initial temporary period.
The position is varied and hands-on, combining general warehouse duties, forklift operation, and support with garment decoration processes such as heat sealing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with garment decoration, including heat sealing
Pick, pack, and prepare stock for internal use and customer dispatch
Drive the company vans to complete deliveries (this will only be sometimes)
Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
Operate a counterbalance forklift as required
Carry out general warehouse duties to support daily operations
Deliver stock using company vans when required
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all health and safety procedures
Support the wider team in meeting operational targets and deadlines
Requirements
Essential:
Valid external Counterbalance Forklift licence
Previous warehouse experience
Good understanding of health and safety within a warehouse environment
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience in garment decoration or heat sealing
Background in a retail or store-based warehouse environment
Personal Attributes
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Good attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
