How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Team Leader

    Huddersfield
    Up to £32,000 Per Annum
    Monday to Friday | Full-Time

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a growing business within the hospitality and eCommerce sector based in Huddersfield.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

    The Role

    As Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring high service standards are maintained while motivating and developing the team to achieve business objectives. You will play a key role in supporting operational performance across both hospitality and online customer operations.

    The successful candidate will be commercially aware, highly organised, and confident managing workloads, KPIs, and team development within a customer-focused environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve departmental targets and KPIs
    Monitor daily performance and provide coaching and development where required
    Ensure excellent customer service standards across hospitality and eCommerce operations
    Support operational efficiency and identify opportunities for process improvements
    Handle escalated customer queries professionally and efficiently
    Work closely with management to support business growth and team performance
    Ensure company procedures and service standards are consistently followed
    Assist with reporting, scheduling, and workforce planning
    Promote a positive and collaborative team cultureSkills & Experience

    Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or Management experience within hospitality, retail, customer service, or eCommerce
    Strong leadership and communication skills
    Ability to motivate and develop team members
    Experience working in fast-paced customer-focused environments
    Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
    Confident managing KPIs and performance targets
    Strong IT and administrative skills
