Duration: Immediate start - End of August (Temporary Contract)
Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
Pay Rate: 14.50 PER HOUR
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our client based in Burgess Hill on a temporary basis until the end of August. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for short-term work.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out multi-drop or scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently
Perform vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before each shift
Load and unload goods where required
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Maintain high standards of customer service when interacting with clients
Complete relevant paperwork and delivery records
You will be required on a couple of days a week to travel to North London . 3 Days a week Class 2, on the other 2 days they would be out in a van/lorry doing multi drop delivery could be up to 15/20 drops a day)
Requirements
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations
Strong reliability and timekeeping
Physically fit, as some manual handling may be requiredWhat's on Offer
