HGV Technician – Workshop Based

Location: Thrapston/Kettering
Salary: Up to £24 per hour | £56,160 per annum
Hours: 45 hours per week – Monday to Friday

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining a modern mixed fleet in a fully equipped workshop environment.

Service, maintain, and repair a mixed HGV fleet including Mercedes, Scania, and Volvo
Work on a range of trailers including single, double-deck, and flatbeds
Carry out inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT preparation
Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and fully compliant with safety and legal standardsHours of Work

Monday to Friday – 45 hours per week
Flexible start and finish times:
6:00am – 3:30pm
7:00am – 4:30pm
8:00am – 5:30pm
Optional Saturday mornings as and when requiredRequirements

Level 3 HGV / Vehicle Maintenance qualification preferred
IRTEC accreditation preferred (training available if not held)
Class 1 (C+E) licence advantageous but not essential
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
