An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. The Role:
As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all electrical and associated building services systems within a critical commercial environment. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will ensure the site operates efficiently and safely at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Responding to reactive maintenance and electrical faults
* Fault finding on electrical systems and building services equipment
* Maintenance of lighting, power, UPS, generators, emergency lighting, and control systems
* Monitoring plant performance and ensuring site compliance
* Working alongside subcontractors and site management teams
* Completing all relevant paperwork and compliance documentation
* Supporting critical site operations during shift hours
Requirements:
* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or critical environments
* Strong electrical fault-finding experience
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* AP qualification or experience desirable
