How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Immediately Available – Warwick - £25 per hour – 4 months contract

    This role offers the opportunity for a Motorsport Engineering Graduate to work within a hands‑on engineering environment, supporting the build, testing and development of advanced systems.
    Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will be involved in end‑to‑end activities across assembly, prototyping and production support. The position suits someone with strong engineering enthusiasm who is comfortable working closely with engineers, suppliers and contractors to support project delivery.
     
    The Motorsport Engineering Graduate will be responsible for:

    Supporting precision assembly of complex electromechanical systems and prototypes
    Building components from engineering drawings, schematics and standard operating procedures
    Assisting with prototyping and iterative build activities within an R&D environment
    Identifying and resolving mechanical or electrical faults during build and testing
    Recording build data, test results and quality observations accurately
    Supporting communication with engineering teams to highlight defects and improvement opportunities  
    The Motorsport Engineering Graduate will have:

    Experience assembling electromechanical systems, prototypes or similar engineering products
    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, wiring diagrams or SOPs
    Strong attention to detail and quality‑focused approach
    Problem‑solving ability with experience troubleshooting faults
    A hands‑on, adaptable approach within dynamic engineering environments
    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
