How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Dick Lovett Bodyshop in Melksham is seeking a talented Bodyshop Technician to join our highly skilled team, working across some of the world's most prestigious automotive brands, including Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, and MINI.

    Job Opportunity

    Dismantling and reassembling vehicles to support all stages of the repair process.
    Carrying out high quality panel replacement work in line with manufacturer standards.
    Ensuring all removed components are correctly stored, labelled, and protected throughout the repair journey.
    Identifying any additional damage or faults and promptly reporting these to the Bodyshop Manager/Supervisor for further assessment.Although this position is not customer facing, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. Achieving this requires strong teamwork, clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Bodyshop to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within agreed timeframes.

    Essential Skills

    Given the technical nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who hold an NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or can demonstrate equivalent industry experience within a Bodyshop environment.

    A full UK Driving Licence is required.
