Salary: £30,000 + Van & Fuel Card
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company covering commercial properties across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

The Role
As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. The role will involve a variety of general maintenance and repair duties to ensure buildings are kept to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general building fabric repairs and maintenance
* Basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, patch repairs, and general handyman duties
* Repair doors, locks, flooring, ceiling tiles, and fixtures
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests across multiple sites
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Maintain accurate job records and reports
* Liaise professionally with clients and site staff
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Fabric Engineer, Handyman, or Building Maintenance role
* Good all-round knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
* Experience within Facilities Management or commercial environments desirable
* Basic plumbing and carpentry skills advantageous
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Strong communication and customer service skills
