How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    If you are already a Branch, Operations or Install Manager in the HVAC industry (Heat Pumps, Boilers or/and Air Con) then I can guarantee this will interest you...

    The package?

    * £55,000 basic

    * Uncapped monthly bonuses + profit share (Guaranteed £800 a month bonus as you get settled in - earn a lot more after)

    * Off the tools - in office, at home, and overseeing on site when needed

    * Company Car + fuel card -- Only have to travel within a 15 mile radius from office (Bagshot/Sunningdale)

    The company?

    Based in Berkshire, and established for 20 years already, this HVAC installer are a regional leader and have doubled the revenue in the last 2 years (multi-millions), with 2000+ 5 star reviews. They install Air Source Heat Pumps, Boilers and Air-Con alongside offering service and maintenance (across 18 engineers and 2 electricians)

    * Their HQ are currently completing 60-80 installs a month

    The role?

    This is a new branch for a 20 year established, successful HVAC installer, thus an opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual with strong experience on the tools, to go off the tools, look after the PNL (profitability) and grow the branch. Your title will be Branch Manager but essentially serving as a Operations Manager with solid commercial/sales understanding.

    You will be heavily supported...

    * HQ with the directors and full team is just 45 minutes away

    * There is a huge existing client base and already inbound jobs for that area

    * You will have 3 engineers from the HQ transfer over to your branch to assure a steady start

    * A huge marketing budget to use at your discretion alongside strategy guidance

    * By March 2027, you will have a team of 10 below you (2 Sales, 2 Electricians and 6 engineers - install & service)

    Your experience?

    10+ years in the HVAC industry and on the tools, a strong understanding of sales/commercial in the industry, and an entrepreneurial instinct with an ambition to grow something without the stress of being self employed
