How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Van Drivers – Fradley
    We are currently recruiting for a Van Drivers based in Fradley, working as part of a two-person delivery team.
    Location
    * Fradley
    Working Hours
    * Monday to Friday
    * Shift 1 - Start time: 06:00 AM
    or
    Shift 2 - Start time : 13.00
    * Longer working days may be required
    Pay Rate
    * £13.29 per hour
    Role Overview
    * Working as part of a two-man team
    * Delivering goods directly to customers
    * Carrying out light assembly of products (tools provided)
    * Providing a high level of customer service
    Key Responsibilities
    * Safe and timely delivery of goods
    * Manual handling and heavy lifting
    * Supporting team member to complete daily delivery schedules
    * Completing basic assembly tasks when required
    Requirements
    * Must be over 25 years of age (insurance requirement)
    * Must have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years (insurance requirement)
    * Previous experience in van driving or delivery preferred
    * Good level of physical fitness
    * Reliable and punctual
    * Strong team-working skills
