This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Previous experience within the glass industry would be advantageous, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect all glass arriving on site to ensure quality standards are met
* Identify and report any flaws, defects, or damages promptly
* Maintain accurate records of inspections and issues identified
* Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
(45 minutes total break time at 9:00am and 12:00pm)
* Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
(same break structure)
Pay & Benefits
* Starting salary of £12.71 per hour
* Pay increases available upon permanent employment and dependent on experience
* Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days per year, increasing annually up to a maximum of 25 days
* Eligibility to join the Employee Owned Trust after one year of employment
