How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Digital Services Business Development Manager

    Location: Woking (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)

    Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 base (DOE) + Uncapped Commission
    OTE: Approx. double base salary

    The opportunity:

    We’re working with a growing digital technology business that delivers Digital Services and Digital Experience solutions across the NHS, Social Housing, and wider public sector landscape.

    The business is continuing to scale its commercial team and is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help expand both existing customer relationships and new business opportunities.

    This is a consultative sales role focused on selling digital services around accessibility, analytics, SEO, UX, design, and digital experience platforms.

    You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-moving environment with strong internal support, clear progression opportunities, and the chance to work within a growing market.

    What you’ll be doing:

    Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
    Building relationships with communication, digital, and operational teams
    Selling Digital Services and Digital Experience solutions
    Leading client meetings, demonstrations, and commercial discussions
    Developing proposals and solution-based presentations
    Identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts
    Driving new business pipeline activity
    Working closely with internal technical and delivery teams
    Maintaining accurate CRM and forecasting activity 
    What we’re looking for:
    Essential experience:

    3+ years’ experience within sales or business development
    Experience selling digital services or software solutions
    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    Experience managing full sales cycles
    Commercially driven with a proactive mindset
    Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
    Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpotDesirable / bonus experience:

    Experience selling accessibility, analytics, SEO, UX, or digital services
    Experience selling DXP, websites, portals, or intranet solutions
    Experience within NHS, Social Housing, or public sector environments
    Experience within agency or digital consultancy environments
