How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Coffee Vending Engineer – Northampton – £30,000 to £33,000 + Door-to-Door Overtime + Company Van

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Coffee Vending Engineer to join a growing and well-established business covering Northampton and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Coffee Vending Engineer looking to join a supportive company offering long-term stability, door-to-door overtime, and career progression.

    As a Coffee Vending Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of bean-to-cup coffee machines and vending equipment across a range of customer sites. The ideal Coffee Vending Engineer will have strong fault-finding skills, excellent customer service, and a proactive attitude.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Service, maintain, and repair bean-to-cup coffee machines and vending equipment

    * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs

    * Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits

    * Install and commission coffee and vending machines when required

    * Provide excellent customer support on-site

    * Complete service reports and relevant documentation accurately

    Requirements:

    * Previous experience as a Coffee Vending Engineer or similar field service engineer role

    * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

    * Full UK driving licence

    * Good communication and customer service skills

    * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
