Think FE are working with a respected further education college in Coventry to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Curriculum Leader in Games Design and Creative Media. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated education professional to play a key role in driving high standards, supporting learner success and contributing to the continued development of games design and creative media provision.
You will help ensure learners receive an exceptional quality of education, with the support, challenge and encouragement they need to achieve and exceed their potential.
The role As Curriculum Leader in Games Design and Creative Media, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, while helping to shape an engaging and inclusive curriculum that reflects both awarding body requirements and industry needs.
You will set high expectations and aspirations across the provision, contributing to curriculum planning, quality improvement and learner outcomes. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will help create an outstanding learning experience that supports progression, confidence and achievement.
Key responsibilities
Deliver engaging, inclusive and effective teaching, learning and assessment
Support learners academically and pastorally to help them reach their full potential
Contribute to curriculum design, development and continuous improvement
Drive high expectations, aspirations and standards across games design and creative media provision
Use quality assurance and improvement processes to enhance learner experience
Work collaboratively with colleagues, curriculum teams and external partners
Support successful learner outcomes through effective planning, monitoring and intervention
What we’re looking for The successful candidate will have:
A relevant teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area
Teaching experience within games design, creative media or a related curriculum area
Evidence of continuing professional development
Experience of quality improvement and assurance processes, including internal verification
Experience of successful course and curriculum development
A strong track record of improving learner outcomes and quality of education
The ability to motivate, inspire and support learners and colleagues
A commitment to high standards, inclusion and learner progression
