We’re supporting a specialist manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Spot Welder Operative to join their production team.
What’s the role all about?
As a Spot Welder Operative, you’ll be responsible for operating resistance welding equipment to manufacture precision components in line with production and quality standards.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, consistency and quality are key. You’ll work closely with production and quality teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key responsibilities
Operate resistance welding machinery and associated production equipment
Manufacture components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions
Carry out visual inspections and quality checks on finished products
Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications
Support production targets and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Identify and report faults, defects or production issues
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
Follow all health, safety and quality procedures
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
What you’ll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Previous experience operating machinery or production equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
Ability to follow engineering drawings or work instructions
Good manual dexterity and practical skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Desirable
Previous resistance welding experience
Experience working with small precision components
Knowledge of quality inspection techniques
Experience within aerospace, automotive or precision engineering environments
