Responsibilities in your new role as Butchery Manager
* Lead, motivate, and manage a production butchery team of 12+ staff
* Ensure high-quality standards across all products and orders
* Oversee daily production and dispatch operations
* Conduct team reviews and provide ongoing training and feedback
* Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
* Manage stock levels and control material costs
* Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
* Support the development of new and existing product lines
Your personality, experience and qualifications
* Previous experience within production butchery or meat retail
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
* Strong understanding of meat cuts, preparation, and storage practices
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Good organisational and computer skills
