ANZUK Education is supporting a variety of primary schools across Westminster who are looking to recruit dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants for a range of classroom support and SEN-focused positions.
These roles are perfect for candidates looking to build experience across different primary settings while opening the door to long-term and permanent opportunities within education. Schools are seeking individuals who can support pupils both academically and emotionally, while contributing positively to the wider school environment.
Opportunities may include general Teaching Assistant roles, Learning Support Assistant positions, SEN support, intervention work, behaviour mentoring, and 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classrooms
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
* Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural needs
* Delivering booster and intervention sessions in literacy and numeracy
* Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits
* Supporting classroom routines and encouraging engagement in lessons
* Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people in schools or similar environments
* A calm, positive, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Passionate about supporting children’s education and development
* Backgrounds in psychology, youth work, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or care are highly desirable
* Interested in gaining long-term experience within school settings
