How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mechanical Project Manager – London – Commercial Fit Out & Refurbishment
    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of a reputable and established M&E Contractor based in London.
    This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing contractor delivering high-profile Commercial, Retail, and Leisure projects across London.
    The successful Mechanical Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the delivery of mechanical packages on commercial fit out and refurbishment projects, managing programmes, subcontractors, site teams, and client relationships from pre-construction through to handover.
    As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical Site Manager, ensuring projects are running to programme, budgets are maintained, and all mechanical works are delivered safely and to a high standard.
    We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Project Manager with strong experience delivering Commercial, Retail, and Leisure projects within the M&E sector. The ideal Mechanical Project Manager will have excellent leadership skills and a proven track record managing mechanical projects successfully.
    Key responsibilities for the Mechanical Project Manager include:
    * Managing Mechanical Site Managers and subcontractors
    * Overseeing mechanical installation works on site
    * Driving programme deadlines and project delivery
    * Managing client and contractor relationships
    * Monitoring budgets, variations, and project performance
    * Ensuring health & safety compliance across projects
    * Coordinating with design, commercial, and site teams
    To be considered for this Mechanical Project Manager role, candidates must have:
    * Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
    * Strong Commercial fit out and refurbishment experience
    * Background working for an M&E Contractor
    * Excellent communication and management skills
    * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams
