Working directly with the Practice Manager, you'll play an important part in keeping the day-to-day running of the practice on track. Developing your technical skills in a supportive environment with clear scope to progress.
What you'll be doing
Supporting the team with bookkeeping and accounts preparation tasks
Assisting with client work across a range of general practice assignments
Maintaining accurate financial records and processing data efficiently
Managing your own workload and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Liaising with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
What we're looking for
Minimum 12 months' experience in an accountancy practice setting
Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping processes
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade A–C, including Maths and English
Reliable, organised, and punctual with a positive attitude
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Salary: £25,000+ FTE, depending on experience
Hours: minimum 22.5 hours per week across 3 days
