How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Site Planner – Manufacturing (D365 Implementation)

    On‑site | 37.5 hours per week

    Overview

We’re a manufacturing business with a busy cores operation and a lot going on. Right now, we’re rolling out Microsoft Dynamics 365, and we need someone who actually understands how production planning works in the real world — not just how it looks on a screen.

This role matters because if the plan’s wrong, everything else follows it off a cliff. You’ll be the person making sure our production plans are realistic, customer commitments make sense, and D365 supports the business rather than slowing it down.

    The role

You’ll own production planning for the site while helping embed those processes into D365. That means balancing capacity, materials, people, and customer demand — then keeping everyone aligned when things inevitably change.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Customer Liaison. You’ll spot risks early, call them out clearly, and help put recovery plans in place before customers feel the impact.

    What you’ll be doing

    * Represent planning within the D365 implementation, making sure the system reflects reality

    * Set up, test, and validate planning data and parameters in D365

    * Build and maintain production plans that actually work on the shop floor

    * Balance demand, capacity, materials, and priorities — daily

    * Own delivery commitments and keep system dates, plans, and customer expectations aligned

    * Flag risks early (capacity, materials, engineering changes) and help fix them

    * Manage arrears and backlog with clear, structured recovery plans

    * Work with Customer Liaison on order status, risks, and customer‑facing updates

    * Support customer meetings and take ownership of PO / contract review and sign‑off

    * Highlight headcount or skills gaps and escalate with evidence, not noise

    * Track performance (OTD, adherence to plan, capacity) and report clearly to site leadership

    About you

    * You’ve worked in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or supply chain — and lived with the consequences

    * You understand ERP systems and how planning should work inside them (D365 experience is a plus)

    * You’re comfortable juggling priorities without dropping the important ones

    * You communicate clearly with operations, engineers, finance, and customers alike

    * You spot problems early and take ownership rather than waiting for permission

    * You’re practical, detail‑driven, and not afraid to challenge plans that won’t work

    Nice to have

    * Hands‑on experience supporting an ERP implementation

    * Exposure to NPI, engineering change, or complex customer commitments

    What you’ll get

    * A key role during a major systems transition — not a side seat

    * Standard hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00–16:30, Friday 8:00–13:30

    * A collaborative site where planning has a real voice

    * The chance to improve how things work, not just maintain the status quo
