Salary: £37,570 - £48,620 DOE + Door to Door
Location: Southwest
Shift: Monday – Friday (42.5hrs)
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x
On Call: 1 in 4 weeks / £50 standby + £30 per call out + overtime rates
My client, a specialist automatic door engineering company, is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join their fitter team. You will be involved in installing, maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment including automatic doors, steel doors, high-speed doors, roller shutters and sectional doors.
What you’ll be doing in your new Automatic Door Engineer role:
Installing, maintaining and repairing automatic doors, steel doors, high-speed doors, roller shutters and sectional doors
Occasionally working on loading bays, dock levellers, dock shelters, buffers, wheel guides, traffic light systems and sectional doors
Performing basic electrical wiring tasks
Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment
Working as part of a call-out rota
What my client is looking for in an Automatic Door Engineer:
Experience working on automatic door systems and industrial products including roller shutters, insulated roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, steel doors, gates and barriers
CSCS, IPAF and PASMA desirable but not essential
A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
