How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The service works with young people and families to promote resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and prevent escalation to higher-tier mental health services.
The service holds the Single Point of Access (SPA) for all children and young people (CYP) mental health referrals within Swindon, ensuring all referrals are screened, triaged, and directed to the most appropriate support in a timely and safe manner.
Be U Swindon delivers a blended, stepped-care model, including low-intensity psychoeducational interventions, counselling provision, and Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) operating within education settings. The service works collaboratively with schools, primary care, and wider partners to provide an integrated system of care.

You will offer leadership and guidance to the Haven Service, supporting the delivery of low-intensity interventions and urgent care, while ensuring consistent clinical decision-making across the service, particularly in relation to risk, safeguarding, and escalation pathways. The role also involves supporting staff through case consultation, supervision, and reflective practice to uphold high standards of care, promoting consistency and alignment across all service pathways, and ensuring all activity operates within established clinical governance frameworks, including safeguarding, data quality, and outcome monitoring.
