We're partnering with a well-established engineering business with an excellent reputation for quality and safety. They're now looking for a proactive Quality Inspector to support production and ensure products consistently meet ISO 9001 and customer standards.
Key responsibilities
Carry out inspections throughout the full production process to confirm compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements
Inspect components and assemblies using CMM equipment
Complete internal audits, support COSHH assessments, and coordinate external assessments/visits
Own quality documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete and up to date
Support production with quality issues, complaints and day-to-day problem solving
Maintain the calibration system and manage non-conformance reporting and controls
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within an engineering/manufacturing environment
Confident reading engineering/mechanical drawings and using a range of measuring equipment
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and processes
Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
Comfortable with Excel, including pivot tables, basic data analysis and document control
