How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching Maths Teacher in a school located in Havering?

    Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a talented and committed Maths Teacher on behalf of this Client, a highly regarded secondary school for girls based in Havering. This is a full-time opportunity starting in September on a fixed term contract for 1 full academic year.

    This Client is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 considered advantageous. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing and monitoring pupil progress, supporting students of varying abilities, and contributing positively to the wider school community. You will be expected to maintain high standards of teaching and learning while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

    The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and possess a degree in Mathematics or a related subject. This Client is looking for a teacher who demonstrates excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for inspiring young people to achieve their full potential.
