How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role:                  Production Operative/FLT
    Location:           Northern Ireland, Bangor BT19 7PB
    Pay Rate:           £13.41p/hr (Mornings) & £16.62p/hr (Afternoons)
    Shifts:                Mon–Thur 8am–4pm, Fri 8am-3pm, rotating weekly to Mon–Thur 4pm–12midnight, Friday 3pm–10pm
    Contract:            Temporary ongoing (with potential of becoming permanent)

    Role/Company
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Operative/FLT licence to join an established company based in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Applicants will be required to work on site specialising in Compounds and adhesives for the Automotive and Aerospace industry, with strong international export links.

    As the Production Operative/FLT, your duties will be:

    Setting up production machines.
    Low level maintenance and running of a manufacturing line as part of a team in order to deliver at the required productivity levels.
    Monitoring the production process.
    Operating the production machinery as required, such as lifting equipment and FLT trucks.
    General housekeeping duties.
    Adhering to all safety & quality rules and procedures.
    The successful Production Operative/FLT will have the following skills/experience:

    Machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment.
    Solid experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (client will provide training and will consider strong candidates with a desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing site, and comfortable with shift work).
    Ideally a valid and accredited FLT Counterbalance licence.
    Strong teamwork skills.
    Comfortable with basic IT systems to report production outputs.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    Good physical strength and dexterity.
    Excellent verbal communicator
