We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site within the North West London area. This is a great opportunity to join a stable business with a strong engineering team, modern equipment and a shift pattern that gives you genuine downtime.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for keeping production machinery running smoothly through a mix of reactive breakdown work and planned preventative maintenance. The role is hands-on and would suit an electrically biased engineer who enjoys fault finding and working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Responding to machinery breakdowns quickly and efficiently
Carrying out planned maintenance across production equipment
Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
Working on motors, conveyors, sensors, control panels and PLCs
Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
Ensuring machinery is running safely and efficiently
Helping improve reliability and machine performanceWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience within FMCG or manufacturing
Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias
Confident fault finding skills
PLC fault finding experience
Engineering qualifications (NVQ, BTEC, HNC or equivalent)
18th Edition beneficial but not essential
