Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, individualised learning experiences aligned to EHCP outcomes.
Lead and support a team of experienced support staff
Work collaboratively with a range of professionals, including:
Occupational Therapists (OT)
Educational Psychologists (EP)
ASD specialists
Paediatricians
Support children with complex needs including:
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Medical needs such as epilepsy, dysphagia, and hypertonia
Take a proactive role in assessment, reporting, and documentation, contributing to high-quality SEND paperwork
Build strong partnerships with families and local SEND teamsWhat you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience working with early years children with complex SEN needs
Strong understanding of developmental stages in early childhood, particularly for pupils working significantly below age-related expectations
Experience supporting children with ASC and complex medical needs
Confidence in leading a team and coordinating provision
Excellent communication and organisational skillsWhat you'll get in return
