How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Registered Manager – EBD Children’s Home

    Location: Walsall / Birmingham
    Salary: £60,000 starting salary + Tax-Free Loyalty Bonus
    Home: 3 BED (EBD)

    An exciting new development—a spacious 5-bed home registered for 3 children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Our Responsible Individual is fully onboard, and we are ready to progress immediately with the right Registered Manager.

    About the Role

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a warm, nurturing, and child-centred environment. You will have full autonomy to shape the culture of the home, build a strong team from the ground up, and ensure children receive the highest standards of care and support.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead the day-to-day management of a newly developed EBD home for up to 3 children.

    * Ensure the home achieves and maintains full compliance with Ofsted and all legislative standards.

    * Recruit, develop, and inspire a stable and high-performing staff team.

    * Create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that promotes positive outcomes and emotional stability.

    * Work closely with the Responsible Individual, social workers, external agencies, and families.

    * Drive continuous improvement and support wider growth and expansion plans.
