How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile engineering and construction projects across the UK and internationally.

    The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and driving team performance.

    Job Description

    Manage projects from award through to completion, ensuring delivery meets programme, budget, quality, and contractual requirements.
    Coordinate project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
    Act as the main client contact, managing communication, reporting, risk, and change control.
    Monitor project schedules, costs, and performance, resolving issues proactively.
    Support continuous improvement, team development, and a strong safety culture.

    Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

    Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline, with project management qualifications preferred.
    Proven experience delivering engineering, construction, or industrial projects.
    Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
    Experience with project planning and reporting tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
    Ideally has experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts
    Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required
