Freight Forwarding Operator Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Freight Forwarding Operator to join our clients growing team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional with strong experience in Ocean (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Freight Forwarding Operator Key Responsibilities
Manage daily Deep Sea (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight shipments from booking through to final delivery
Experience dealing with Import and Export shipments
Coordinate collections with domestic and international carrier networks
Track shipments, monitor consignments, and issue pre-alerts to clients and partners
Prepare and process accurate shipment documentation, including Bills of Lading (BL) and Air Waybills (AWB)
Liaise with overseas offices, agents, carriers, and logistics partners worldwide
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular shipment updates
Proactively identify and resolve operational issues across import and export shipments
Ensure compliance with customs procedures, shipping regulations, and internal processesFreight Forwarding Operator Requirements
Minimum 3+ years' experience in Ocean and Air Freight Forwarding
Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs procedures, and shipping documentation
Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
