Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a large and successful academy in Doncaster to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science for a full-time position starting after May half term until the end of the summer term.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school welcomes applications from teachers specialising in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student progress and engagement
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil achievement and development
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Maintain strong classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff
Contribute to the wider life of the academy where appropriate
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for inspiring young people and supporting student achievement
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Right to work in the UK
