A local plumbing and heating company covering Dorset is looking for an experienced Supervisor to join the team.
The role involves overseeing a small team of engineers across domestic and commercial plumbing, heating, and maintenance works. The successful candidate will help organise day-to-day jobs, ensure work is completed to a good standard, and maintain good communication with customers and the office.
Main Responsibilities
Supervise and support a small team of engineers on site
Allocate daily work and assist with job planning
Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and the office team
Order and organise materials and equipment when required
Monitor progress of jobs and report updates to management
Carry out quality checks on completed works
Assist with pricing small works and quotations when needed
Ensure sites are kept clean and tidy
Attend occasional site meetings if required
Requirements
Previous experience in plumbing and heating
Experience leading or supervising a small team
Good communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
