How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Service Advisor Required for Main Dealership - Newbury

    *

    Salary: £30,000 Basic Salary + Bonus (£38,000)

    *

    Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 6 PM

    *

    Weekends OFF

Our client is seeking a talented and dedicated Permanent Service Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for customer service and a background in the automotive industry. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met while facilitating smooth operations within the dealership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing information on services offered.

    Schedule service appointments and manage the work order process efficiently.

    Communicate with technicians to ensure a clear understanding of service requirements and customer concerns.

    Provide detailed estimates and explain the services to customers in a friendly and professional manner.

    Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive sector.

    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage effectively with customers.

    Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    *

    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    *

    Familiarity with automotive service processes and related software is preferred.

    *

    A strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service and building lasting relationships.
